Learning on paper is only the first step, in this class we will go beyond chart theory and get practical experience paddling currents
In this class we will cover, how to interpret current flow and tidal information, how to plot a ferry angle using a chart & ranging. Then apply this knowledge on the water, while learning and practicing fundamental paddling techniques in current, including peel outs, eddy catching, and ferry gliding. These are essential skills for safe paddling in tidal areas!
Location & Time: Tillamook Bay - MEET (not geared up) 9:30am. The first part of the class we will be going over charts & tide tables, then we will put on our gear and get on the water.
Cost $125 Plus 6% booking company fee. (Minimum enrollment 2 - Max 5 students)
